Hey everyone, here is an update on the Jena 6.

They are a group of 6 Black high school students facing life in prison for a school yard fight. This case is getting national attention and is the home page for the NAACP.
I realized that I only posted the first video on my facebook page, so I will got that video and post it here as well (see below)…

Oprah is looking for elementary and high school educators to join an inspiring new program called O Ambassadors. By becoming one of Oprah’s O Ambassadors, your students will learn about other children and families living in developing countries and discover that kids can make a difference in their own lives and someone else’s!

O Ambassadors is a school-based program open to elementary and high school students. Only educators in the United States or Canada can apply to have their school included in the program.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, you can apply to lead an O Ambassadors club in your school.
