Job description

Canoe is currently looking for an Account Manager for its Toronto office.
An Account Manager, Advertising Operations has no direct reports. A person in this role has a service responsibility to the Sales Account team members assigned to them. An Account Manager in Advertising Operations is responsible for the quality of orders entered into DSM and the quality of the solutions proposed to clients.He/She is responsible for influencing their assigned Sales Team members to sell more effectively. The Account Manager will build solutions that respect this approach and be accountable when Sales are made that do not respect this approach. Reducing complexity of orders placed by Clients is also an aim of this position.This role is part of the team that delivers a large part of Canoe’s annual revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities
1. Attend Client meetings with a Sales Team member to better understand custom er needs
2. Obtain superior knowledge of the DSM system and achieve the highest capabilities on the system
3. Ensure that all inventory issues are clarified and solved so that the campaign can be entered as agreed with the client reserve inventory where appropriate before a Client meeting
4. Gather with the Sales Team member all of the information required to ensure an order can be successfully entered into DSM confirm and validate this information and that the campaign is running with the correct priority
5. Create complex orders for the Sales team respecting rules surrounding complexity, targeting, product management
6. Consult Product Managers when necessary and drive additional product creation be responsible for the creation of a request to implement any agreed changes
7. Help Sales Team members build proposals
8. Help build the business rules for our products
9. Create new advertisers in CRM when required and in a timely manner
10 . Add and update products and mappings, when necessary, in CRM as needed to ensure the system stays current and accurate
11. Build proposals that take a ‘simple’ approach to satisfying the customers requirements
12. Manage documentation in Sharepoint to ensure an up-to-date accurate base of knowledge
