WE ARE CURENTLY SEEKING six Bilingual Stock Checkers, part-time, minimum 20 hrs per week with potential lay-offs in Fall.

As a Stock Checker, your tasks will be the following:

– Prepare standard items (bar, food, equipment and linen) used on various trains.

– Delivers or removes merchandises from the trains.

– Assure that the trays and other items are cleaned and placed in the appropriate location.

– Reconciles the physical count with the items that were reported as used or consumed in transit.

– Drive a towing tractor.

– Perform other related duties.

Candidates have to be available to work, on call, various shifts (day, afternoon, night). Shifts are 10 hours. A minimum of 20 hours per week is guaranteed with a possibility of up to 40 hours per week.

Location: Toronto Maintenance Centre (Etobicoke).

The training is scheduled to start on June 4th 2012.

Requirements:
2 years of experience in a warehouse as a picker/packer.

High School Diploma. Requirements:
2 years of experience in a warehouse as a picker/packer.

Bilingualism. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.

Capacity to do heavy lifting.

Valid ‘G’ driver’s licence.

You must successfully complete a 2-weeks training session which is paid $10.25 per hour before working as a stockchecker.
